Professor of EFL/EAP/ESP

Candidates on waiting list 21

The successful candidate will be expected to teach, supervise students, and contribute to curriculum and research activities in EFL/EAP/ESP at the rank of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/ Lecturer.
Teaching responsibilities may include courses such as:

Integrated Language Skills 1
Academic Reading
Academic English 1
English Plus
English for Tourism Hospitality and Management
English for Engineering

Education:

А basic qualification (minimum 5 years for a Professor position) from a reputed institution in EFL/EAP/ESP along with a postgraduate degree (Diploma, Master’s, PhD, or DSc) in the relevant subject and teaching or industry experience, with the ability to teach and assess fundamental and advanced skills at the undergraduate level.

Work Experience:

2-10 years formal teaching experience, in relevent specialty/subjects after post graduation. Preferably degrees from multiple countries to have a global experience. And work experience in different universities in different countries to be familiar with university functioning in higher education.

Special knowledge and skills

Expertise in English as a Foreign Language (EFL), English for Academic Purposes (EAP), or English for Specific Purposes (ESP). Strong knowledge of second language acquisition, linguistics, and language assessment. Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional design, and digital language learning tools. Experience in teaching English for academic, professional, or specialized contexts. Experience in research, academic publications, and securing research grants.Familiarity with intercultural communication, language policy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
