Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to teach, supervise students, and contribute to curriculum and research activities in Biomedical Engineering at the rank of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/ Lecturer.
Teaching responsibilities may include courses such as:
-Introduction to Biomedical Engineering
-Medical Biology and Lab
-Molecular and Cell Biology
-Human Anatomy and Physiology
-Organic Chemistry for Engineers
-Chemistry for Engineering
Education
A basic qualification (minimum 5 years for a Professor position) in Biomedical Engineering from a reputed institution, along with a postgraduate degree (Diploma, Master’s, PhD, or DSc) in the relevant subject, with teaching or industry experience and the ability to teach and assess skills at the undergraduate level.
Work Experience
2-10 years formal teaching experience, in relevent specialty/subjects after post graduation. Preferably degrees from multiple countries to have a global experience. And work experience in different universities in different countries to be familiar with university functioning in higher education.
Special knowledge and skills
Expertise in biomedical instrumentation, biomaterials, biomechanics, and medical imaging.Proficiency in engineering software (MATLAB, LabVIEW, SolidWorks) and medical device development.Strong knowledge of bioinformatics, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and regenerative medicine.Experience in research, publications, and securing research grants.Familiarity with healthcare regulations, medical ethics, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Language Requirements
Mandatory: English – fluency.
