Professor of Computer Science
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to teach, supervise students, and contribute to curriculum and research activities in Computer Science at the rank of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/ Lecturer.
Teaching responsibilities may include courses such as:
-Digital Image Processing
-Analysis of Algorithms
-Software Engineering
-Data Structures and Algorithms
-Object-Oriented Programming
-System Programming
-Introduction to Computer Science
-Computer Programming
-Computer Programming for BE
-Computer Programming for Computer Science
Education
A basic qualification (minimum 5 years for a Professor position) in Computer Science from a reputed institution, along with a postgraduate degree (Diploma, Master’s, PhD, or DSc) in the relevant subject, with teaching or industry experience and the ability to teach and assess skills at the undergraduate level.
Work Experience
2-10 years formal teaching experience, in relevent specialty/subjects after post graduation. Preferably degrees from multiple countries to have a global experience. And work experience in different universities in different countries to be familiar with university functioning in higher education.
Special knowledge and skills
Expertise in algorithms, data structures, software engineering, and operating systems.Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.) and development frameworks.Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and data science.Experience in research, publications, and securing research grants.Familiarity with emerging technologies, industry trends, and interdisciplinary applications.
Language Requirements
Mandatory: English – fluency.
