Professor of Cybersecurity
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to teach, supervise students, and contribute to curriculum and research activities in Cybersecurity at the rank of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/ Lecturer.
Teaching responsibilities may include courses such as:
-Introduction to Cybersecurity
-Graduation Project I
-Graduation Project II
Education
A basic qualification (minimum 5 years for a Professor position) in Cybersecurity from a reputed institution, along with a postgraduate degree (Diploma, Master’s, PhD, or DSc) in the relevant subject, with teaching or industry experience and the ability to teach and assess skills at the undergraduate level.
Work Experience
2-10 years formal teaching experience, in relevent specialty/subjects after post graduation. Preferably degrees from multiple countries to have a global experience. And work experience in different universities in different countries to be familiar with university functioning in higher education.
Special knowledge and skills
Expertise in network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, and cybersecurity risk management. Proficiency in cybersecurity tools, frameworks, and programming languages (Python, C, Java, etc.). Strong knowledge of cloud security, penetration testing, digital forensics, and malware analysis. Experience in research, publications, and securing research grants. Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
Language Requirements
Mandatory: English – fluency.
