Responsibilities


The successful candidate will be expected to teach, supervise students, and contribute to curriculum and research activities in Hospitality Management at the rank of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/ Lecturer.

Teaching responsibilities may include courses such as:

-Entrepreneurship in Tourism and Hospitality

-Managing Events for Tourism and Hospitality

-Quality Management in Tourism and Hospitality


Education


A basic qualification (minimum 5 years for a Professor position) in Hospitality Management from a reputed institution, along with a postgraduate degree (Diploma, Master’s, PhD, or DSc) in the relevant subject. Candidates should have teaching or industry experience and the ability to teach and assess both fundamental and advanced skills at the undergraduate level.


Work Experience


2-10  years formal teaching experience, in relevent specialty/subjects after post graduation. Preferably degrees from multiple countries to have a global experience. And work experience in different universities in different countries to be familiar with university functioning in higher education.


Special knowledge and skills


Expertise in hospitality management, hotel and resort operations, food and beverage management, or event planning. Strong knowledge of service quality management, customer experience, and hospitality marketing. Proficiency in revenue management, digital hospitality technologies, and operational efficiency. Experience in hospitality leadership, strategic planning, and sustainable tourism practices. Experience in research, academic publications, and securing research grants.Familiarity with global hospitality trends, industry regulations, and interdisciplinary collaboration.


Language Requirements


Mandatory: English – fluency.
