Professor of Civil Engineering

The successful candidate will be expected to teach, supervise students, and contribute to curriculum and research activities in Civil Engineering at the rank of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/ Lecturer.
Teaching responsibilities may include courses such as:
- Steel Structures
- R.C. Structures and Foundations
- Construction Materials
- Building Services
- Engineering Geodesy
- Construction Project Management (Elective)
- Building Mechanical and Electrical Systems (Elective)
Education:
A basic qualification (minimum 5 years for a Professor position) in Civil Engineering from a reputed institution, along with a postgraduate degree (Diploma, Master’s, PhD, or DSc) in the relevant subject, with teaching or industry experience and the ability to teach and assess skills at the undergraduate level.
Work experience:
2-10 years formal teaching experience, in relevent specialty/subjects after post graduation. Preferably degrees from multiple countries to have a global experience. And work experience in different universities in different countries to be familiar with university functioning in higher education.
Special knowledge and skills:
Expertise in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and construction management.Proficiency in engineering software (Auto CAD, Revit, SAP2000< ETABS, STAAD.Pro, etc.). Strong knowledge of materials science , sustainability, and infrastructure design.Experience in research, publications, and securing research grants
