The successful candidate will be expected to teach, supervise students, and contribute to curriculum and research activities in Statistics at the rank of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/ Lecturer.
Teaching responsibilities may include courses such as:
- Scientific Research Methods
- Statistics for Data Science
- Biostatistics for Dental School
Education:
A basic qualification (minimum 5 years for a Professor position) in Statistics from a reputed institution, along with a postgraduate degree (Diploma, Master’s, PhD, or DSc) in the relevant subject, with teaching or industry experience and the ability to teach and assess skills at the undergraduate level.
Work Experience:
2-10 years formal teaching experience, in relevent specialty/subjects after post graduation. Preferably degrees from multiple countries to have a global experience. And work experience in different universities in different countries to be familiar with university functioning in higher education.
Special knowledge and skills
Expertise in statistical methods, probability theory, and data analysis. Proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SAS, SPSS, etc.).Strong mathematical foundation, including linear algebra and calculus. Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in statistics. Proven research and publication record in reputable journals.Experience in securing research grants and participating in international projects.
