Professor of Dentistry

Education:

A basic qualification (minimum 5 years for a Professor position) in Dentistry from a reputed institution, along with a postgraduate degree (Diploma, Master’s, PhD, or DSc) in the relevant subject, with teaching or industry experience and the ability to teach and assess skills at the undergraduate level.

Work Experience:

2-10  years formal teaching experience, in relevent specialty/subjects after post graduation. Preferably degrees from multiple countries to have a global experience. And work experience in different universities in different countries to be familiar with university functioning in higher education.

Special knowledge and skills:

Expertise in general dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, or orthodontics.Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, pathology, radiology, and biomaterials.Proficiency in dental technologies, digital dentistry, and clinical procedures.Experience in patient care, treatment planning, and evidence-based dental practices.Experience in research, publications, and securing research grants.Familiarity with healthcare regulations, dental ethics, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
